Traditionally we build a sales organization by dividing the quota by the amount of sales persons.
This rudimentary methodology does not take into account the dependency on other key roles such as those that generate leads. The solution is to create small teams that operate as self sustained units, called PODs.
Each PODs creates a stable revenue stream. Growing the amount of PODs, grows the revenue in a scalable way. Each POD can be deployed on a vertical market, a region, or a segment.
